The 2D-LCA, a versatile, precise sensor for high temporal and spatial resolution velocity measurements in 2d.
The measuring principle is based on a micro-structured cantilever which is used as a flow body. The bending of the cantilever due to the flow of the medium is recorded using the laser pointer principle.
The 2D-LCA is lightweight and portable and comes with user-friendly software.
Advantages of the 2D-LCA:
- Simultaneous measurement of two wind speed components
- Frequency response up to 150 kHz
- High spatial resolution of up to 160µm
- Interference-protected optical method
- Lightweight and portable
- No additional measuring amplifier / signal conditioner required
- Use in air and water
